E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} #3 1002 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/R.4.2.37. Attached is a preliminary report on 35-EX before its accident. The most interesting feature in the report is the commendation given to the steering. Sr. also thinks that the Wraith wheel movement levers are a great improvement. We have always considered that the steering was one of the worst features of the P.III., but this may not have caused adverse comment in customers' hands. There is the question of the levers running on 35-EX being un-necessarily heavy and requiring new dies before they can go on production. At the next Conference we should like to discuss how soon we can get this improvement to the customer. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
