V417 Telephone } Whitehall 4649 Telegrams } Dorland House, 14, Regent Street, London, S.W.1. 23rd November 1932. E.W.Hives Esq. Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd. Derby. Dear Mr. Hives, You will no doubt remember you had my 40/50 Continental Phantom II at the Works in June and certain work was carried out, after which you asked me to advise you how I found the steering. I would say that I still get a certain amount of shock coming through the steering at high speed if the road happens to be in at all bad condition, and am wondering whether you would like to have the car back at Derby. I have it in the back of my mind that there was some discussion in regard to pistons and I would be obliged if you would let me know whether while my car was at the Works special pistons were fitted. Yours sincerely, [Illegible Signature] | ||
