Dear Sirs, Thank you for your letter of the 10th inst, We have examined your suggestions with regard to the rear axle jack fittings, and in the event of standard-isation of your jacks we should prefer that indicated on Sheet.A. possibly strengthened up slightly. For the fitting up of the experimental set, however, we will use the simpler method as shown on Sheet B.; we are preparing a set of these parts and should have a car ready for you to fit up with jacks first thing after the Christmas holidays (after 28th Dec.). We shall be pleased for you to fit up a second front axle with two jacks. If you will give us 24 hours notice we will arrange for the car to be at your disposal any time after 28th.Dec. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS ROYCE LTD. | ||
