x8050. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} From HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}3/MJ.22.1.30. 40/50 HP. CHASSIS - EXTRA CYLINDER LUBRICATION. With reference to By4/G22.1.30. We think that the biggest pipe which we could use for the extra oil to the cylinders is 5/16" becuase E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} was most anxious to prevent the fitting becoming unsightly. This would give us 100% greater area. The alternative would be a .250 pipe which gives us a 50% greater area than the 3/16" at present used. We used a 5/16" pipe on our original tests and should like a scheme using this size as being about what we shall probably want. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
