RE GORDON ARMSTRONG REAR SHOCK DAMPERS.

The scheme for the application of the Gordon Armstrong shock dampers to the rear of the Senior Range is well advanced. We have a modern small type damper which we shall fit to the Rippletto but the large type which we are applying to the larger cars of the range is a damper with a four bolt fixing sent to us 2½ years ago.

We confirm that we asked Mr.Clapham yesterday to obtain for us as soon as possible a modern drawing of this large type damper so that we can be sure that we are applying the latest unit.

P.S. Before posting this letter we heard from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Clapham that the damper we have is still correct.
