CHASSIS B.60.GA - Paris Trials Car
-------------------------------------

We acknowledge receipt of your telegramm
of the 11th. instant reading:

PLEASE URGE TESTS ON RR 56 BIG ENDS AND REAR MAIN
BEARING WHICH YOU HAVE RECEIVED FOR YOUR TRIALS CAR
STOP ALSO SHOULD LIKE REPORT ON WHITE METAL MAINS.

With reference to Sr's conversation
with you on the phone this morning concerning the above, and
the tests we are carrying on B.60.GA (Whitemetal bearings)
We, as agreed to by you in the phone, are only at present
going to fit the connecting rods which have the RR.56 bearings
and shims to B.8.GA. We shall start on this work tomorrow.

When we, at a later date, fit the RR.56
rear main bearing, we will drill an extra and opposite
hole in each of the main journals of the crankshaft, as
requested by you in your Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}4/AP.8.12.36, paragraph 4.

As Sr. explained to you, we are extremely
busy at present and have been for some time and the 40 hour
week is not helping matters in this respect.

Sr/VA.
