RADIATORS.

Lack of room in the Works seems to be the greatest difficulty; however Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} has decided that supposing outside supplies are sufficient we must aim at being in the position of doing all our repairs, and making 2 to 5 new radiators per week, within 5 or 6 weeks. This estimate of 5 to 6 weeks is, of course, dependent upon outside supplies of parts. Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} to look into this question and report whether the necessary parts can be obtained in time for Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} to keep to this estimated time.

Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} pointed out that when we do our own repairs with the new type of matrix for the radiator, the repair job will become less and less, and give more time for the making of new radiators.

Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} wishes to correct statement made at yesterday's conference re making 50 new radiators per week; he does not consider we should attempt to make more than 25 per week, because of the 1922 reduced programme.

SUPPLIES.

Rubber Connections. - Are very difficult owing to A.I.D. specifications, - which are very stringent. The life of these rubber connections is only four months and they are dated by the A.I.D. people when they pass same, so that any rubber connections which are over a life of four months are condemned. At present we have had to scrap a very serious amount of these. Often a great deal of the four months' life is passed beforewe get the A.I.D. man to come and inspect them. If engines are for delivery
