Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} suggests that the Committee ask Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} to put the whole matter before CJ. with a view to a conference being arranged between Bagnall Wild and CJ. on the subject, in the hopes that we might get this ridiculous position withdrawn.

EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} amends this by saying Mr. Whitehead should go with Mr. Johnson to see Bagnall Wild, when the whole case could be brought forward.

Committee agreed to this.

BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} and Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} have arranged to go into the question of making the flanges for the gauges in our own Works, owing to difficulty of getting outside supplies.

SHORTAGE OF KLAXON HORNS.

This question is waiting for the Technical Dept. to make an appointment with a man from Birmingham. Thursday or Friday this week suits BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}

WARLAND RIMS.

EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} waiting for Warland rims which have been sent back to the makers, owing to being defective. 12 cars held up owing to this job.

Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} to visit the Warland people and find out what the exact situation is in regard to our supplies. He is not quite sure that the Warland people are doing their best for us, owing to the Warland rim not being standardised

WOOD WHEELS.

EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} requires wood wheels for cars on test.
