To Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} from EFC. EFC1/AT30.5.19. X.646. - FULLER BATTERIES. The representative of the Fuller Co. called yesterday to enquire how their two batteries, submitted to us, were progressing. We had to tell him that they were unsatisfactory in several respects. He remarked, however, that of course these batteries were just taken from stock and did not necessarily represent what they could do to suit our requirements. He was anxious that his firm should be given another opportunity. We said we thought we might do this but would prefer to consider the matter before giving a promise. Do you favour giving this firm an opportunity of producing a battery to our specification? In addition to the Chloride firm we are still in touch with Messrs. Lucas, Peto Radford, Premier and Tudor, who will be submitting to us further batteries for trial. Is this a sufficient number or should it be our policy to give everybody a chance? EFC. | ||
