All our cylinder blocks in the future will have two or more of the cylinder bores short chromium plated.

We are not chromium plating all the bores, because we want to carry out a direct comparison between the wear of the plate and the normal cast iron.

The process has been carried out successfully by the plating Department and is very simple, cheap and expeditious.

There are however a few precautions to be taken before the block is sent to be plated, and these are enumerated on the attached sheet.
