To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. Copies to... WOT G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} SECRET. X5580 BJ6/H24.7.25. 20 HP. Car. It seems that we shall be without a demonstration 'India' car for some time - probably a week or ten days - after we make the announcement on the 28th, allowing for time to mount the body. It occurred to us that as two cars are going to West WitteringHenry Royce's home town, one of which will go on to France, R.{Sir Henry Royce} might be able to spare the other car for Sales to use for demonstration purposes until Sales receive their permanent demonstration car. Do you think this is possible, and would the 20 HP. 'India' which has gone to West WitteringHenry Royce's home town be our new standard car, or has it other modifications fitted to it which are only experimental? B.J. | ||
