| X7655 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from EFC. EFCl/T25.3.29. S.S.SEQUENCE STARTER- MAIN & AUXILIARY SWITCH. We have handed one of these switches to Mr.Brock's Dept. for bringing up-to-date. We are anxious to get the up-to-date modifications of the brass winding cheeks and modified carbon arm, and should be pleased if you would arrange to have the necessary material urged. We are anxious to have this switch so that we can proceed with experiments on the rig. You will remember that we wanted to test - (1) A completely rounded pinion. (2) A completely sharp tooth pinion. We have the former pinion but I think you will remember that the sharp tooth pinion was utilised for one of the motors on the two cars, and therefore another one should be put in hand. In regard to the duplex push button switch which we hoped to have ready by now for sending to R.{Sir Henry Royce}, the job appears to be awaiting the new bow spring, and I should be pleased if you will arrange to have this looked into with a view to expediting the matter.
