X.3958. RE R.R. AUTOMATIC DYNAMO SWITCH.

In reply to your memo EFC5/T3.5.20, kindly note that Mr. Royce is of the opinion that the testing of the Smith dynamo with improved cutting-in point, and output, need not be delayed on account of the automatic switch, as you can use the Lucas fitting for this latter purpose.

The drawing of the R.R. device at the moment is incomplete, and needs extensive revision. I will let you know later what Mr. Royce wishes to be done.
