Dear Sir, We have your letter of the 24th inst. having further reference to nitruration steel. In reply we beg to confirm that we shall be pleased to supply a crankshaft forging at the price of your ordinary crankshaft stampings. In this case we would propose arranging to supply a hand forged shaft, particularly as it is necessary to allow rather more than usual for machining purposes.
