X4021 To Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} from EFC. EFC7/T16.11.26. WATFORD MAGNETOS FOR FALCON X. Herewith we hand to you two magnetos type IS12, Nos. 83120, 83133 with all parts complete, for return to Messrs. Norths, in accordance with the arrangement made with their representatives. The two contact breakers on these magnetos are the two which have been removed from the two machines which Mr. Allen brought with him, and one of the distributor mouldings is one which has failed by tracking, due we think to one high tension connection having been improperly made or pulled out, i.e. in using the unofficial connection. We have one more complete magneto to be returned for bringing up to date when we have completed some bench tests on this. We have also one contact breaker brought up to date as per your WD{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}3/NJ12.11.26. This can go on one of the new machines from which the contact breakers have been removed, and we are awaiting the return of a second contact breaker to make these two complete to date. EFC. 83119 and 83132 also sent back. | ||
