Ltd., Melksham, WILTS. For the attention of Dr.Mackay. Dear Sirs, Mr.Hewitt rang up this morning saying that you were going to bring up some 17" tyres to test on our Skid-pan. He asked me to let you know the static weight of the rear of the car on which the tests will be carried out. With one passenger in the back the rear axle load will be 10 cwt. per wheel. Mr.Hewitt suggested April 5th. and 6th. as suitable days for the test. Tuesday, the 5th. is not very convenient for us, but Wednesday, the 6th. would be suitable.
