Re Windscreen Wipers.

With reference to your RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}4/RH.{R. Hollingworth}29.9.41. in which you ordered six sets of windscreen wipers as supplied for the B.V. car.

Please note we have today received a telephone message from Messrs. Lucas, that they are unable to supply these parts, neither have they any hopes of any being produced at present.

They could however, supply us with various parts not assembled, which we could build up ourselves, but these would not strictly conform to the B.V. pattern, and could probably be used as replacements for any of the parts of the existing wipers which you find necessary to be changed.

We shall be glad to have your remarks on this matter.
