X.4261 Front Road Springs - Goshawk II.

Mr Royce has approved of the front road springs as shewn on "N" Scheme 790 and 795, of which we attach the blue prints hereto. These drawings shew the heaviest spring, and particulars of other weights of spring will follow as soon as possible. In the meanwhile Mr Royce would like a sample made to "N" Scheme 795, and the opinion of the makers confirmed as to its general suitability.

For general information "N" Scheme 790 should be worked to, the arrangement of clips being to Fig 1. But for the actual details of the plates, we prefer "N" Scheme 795.

The curvature of the plates is rather difficult to work out exactly, but we expect to suggest an approximate method immediately. In the meantime they might be arrived at by setting out.
