S.U. CARBURETTER.

With reference to the enquiries in E4/G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 29.1.32., we have obtained the following figures for force required to operate the jet seatings on S.U. Carburetters. The figures given are the effort required to move the jet only i.e. all controls disconnected.

(1) Two Bentley type brand new S.U. Carburetters.
Effort to start moving. (a) Dry 6½ lbs. (b) Wet 5 lbs
Effort to continue moving. (a) Dry 5½ lbs. (b) Wet 4½ lbs

(2) 20/25 HP size S.U. Carburetter (not new)
Effort to start moving. (a) Dry 7 lbs. (b) Wet 4½ lbs.
Effort to continue moving (a) Dry 5 lbs. (b) Wet 4¼ lbs.
