The obvious question to ask seemed to be why they did not put the magnets for the 3½ litre box on the 1½ litre box and continue their experiments but such a test appeared to be outside the scope of their existing experimental Dept.,

One thing appeared to be clear, they have little or no trouble with the surfaces of the magnets seizing up or due to faulty electrical contacts.

We are borrowing a box from them which we will let you have at Park Leys, and I think we should consider a design for it based on the tooth loads which gave satisfaction on the Chrysler overdrive unit.

If necessary, we can test the box after you have examined it.
