GOSHAWK DAMPED SPRING DRIVE. X.4222.

This third design is so manifestly superior, that it should be adopted at once. It does not depart widely from the second design at present in use, but naturally will give better service, and less trouble to get perfect. I therefore think this should go ahead for standardisation at once. The 10,000 mile trial can be done during production.
