R.{Sir Henry Royce} BOSCH TYPE FU6R. MAGNETO NO. 31859.

The equivalent 20,000 mile bench endurance test on this magneto has now been completed and the magneto has been opened up and examined..

Attached will be found copy of my assistant's report WC.113 on the result of this examination.

It will be remembered that this magneto has a jump spark distributor and it will be noted from the report that the distributor points show little evidence of burning and possibly less than might be expected after a similar period of working of such a distributor on the battery ignition.

Our intention with this machine now is to unwind the armature for inspection, and subsequently to give Messrs. Norths an opportunity of inspecting all the parts of the machine.

WC.113. attached.
