(Please refer to WC36, WC44 and WC45) for previous information to this magneto)
We have now carried out an endurance tests of 20000 miles (bench equivalent).
on a bench rig at 2900 r.p.m. with this magneto satisfactorily.
Throughout the test the magneto functioned OK except that the spark gap connected to the bottom segment of the distributor misfired on a 5.5 m/m gap owing to sparking across in the distributor presumably due to insufficient surface insulation at that point.
