RE. HELSBY H.T. CABLE.

We have examined Production stock of the above and find it all to be very poor quality indeed and not comparable with what we standardised.

We are therefore rejecting the whole of the stock with the exception of reels B.I. 16, 19 and 39 which are a little better than the average. Although these reels are not quite to specification we are releasing them in order not to bring Production to a standstill.

The Chief Chemist of Messrs British Insulated Cables is visiting us on Monday to discuss the situation.

Will G/Mt. please pass reels B.I.16, 19 and 39 to RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/SMD.{J. Smedley} in the ordinary way.

Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst.
