S. Smith & Son (Motor Accessories) Ltd. Continuation No. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd. Needless to say we shall be only too pleased to make up any special designs to your esteemed instructions, and if you will make an appointment we can arrange to wait upon you at your convenience, with a view to discussing the matter. DYNAMOS: We are pleased to learn that you are satisfied with the appearance and construction of these, but regret to note that your comments on the Commutator are unfavourable. We note that you have so far only examined one of these machines. Perhaps you will kindly let us know to which one you are referring. Whilst on this subject, we should like to point out that both of the machines submitted are hand-made samples owing to the fact that we are hardly yet in a position to offer deliveries in bulk. We are confident that this matter can quite easily be taken care of, and would like to suggest that, just as soon as we are able to make tests, we place one of our electrical engineers at your disposal. Should you require any modification, or in fact a special Dynamo, you may rest assured that we shall be only too pleased to offer you a suitable machine made specially to your esteemed requirements. In the meantime, we look forward to promised results of tests. Assuring you always of our best attention to your commands, We beg to remain, Yours faithfully, pp. S. SMITH & SONS (M.A) LIMITED. C.W.
