We have made the front mechanics joint of the propeller shaft a good job. The sliding joint was found to have been roughing up on several splines. These have been smoothed down and the shaft made to slide smoothly. There was practically no oil in the sliding compartment.

GEAR BOX.

The change speed lever has been eased and is now quite free.

The two rear Jackall Jacks sent out have been fitted. The ones taken off will be returned.

The Car is running quite well. The Exhaust boom has disappeared along with the rattle that came up in the rear silencer.

The Engine is free from periods. There is a general roughness from 60 MPH. upwards.
