Preparation and trial of a new special speed model chassis for a 10,000 miles trial.

| To Df. - from Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} " Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} - " " " Mr.Coverley" " CJ. informs me that it is probable that we shall be selling as a special speed model, the present chassis with the present gearbox but with the new engine, and it is desirable that such a chassis should be prepared immediately and should be sent for a 10,000 miles trial. PN.{Mr Northey} wishes to demonstrate such a chassis to one of our clients in the South of France, and this journey should be incorporated as part of the trial. Could you kindly look into this and let us have a talk as to the best we can do to get such a chassis ready at the earliest possible moment. I expected this instruction to come as a result of the conference last Monday, and it would appear as if we have got to try and get such a chassis running at the earliest possible moment. AHV | ||
