For the attention of Mr.West.

Dear Sirs,

We have examined the regulator B.2.H.1. No.20855 which you returned to us with the complaint that the operation was very erratic on your production test.

The regulator was run for two days and gave satisfactory operation, with the exception that at the higher dynamo speeds the regulation was not quite as steady as it might have been. This was due to the fact that the operating voltage of the second contacts was too close to the voltage of operation of the first pair of contacts.

The regulator is being re-conditioned and will be returned to you as soon as possible.

Yours faithfully,
JOSEPH LUCAS LIMITED.
