Magneto H.T. wire on the 20HP chassis.
The arrangement of the H.T. wire from the Watford ROI magneto is we consider unsatisfactory firstly as it requires a number of small fittings and studs in the crankcase and secondly the wire where it passes through the long fibre tube along the crankcase swells and rapidly perishes due to heat and the presence of oil and petrol. When cars are overhauled after running a considerable time we are informed that it is practically impossible to pull the wire out of the tube and the tube is scrapped!
