File Dear Mr. Martindale, I thank you for your letter of the 28th of September which was awaiting my return from the Continent. We can certainly produce RU 3/8" thick and provisionally I have put in hand a small quantity in the event of you needing it. The two pieces part No. GB.751 - 1/4" thick will reach you about the same time as this letter. I am sorry the S.7356 and S.7357 have not solved the squeal problem - it certainly does seem a most elusive one. I am rather surprised that you do not expect good wear resistance from RU and I would like you to make further observations on this point because we are getting continual evidence to the contrary.
