Directly Mr. Haldenby pointed out that there was a difficulty with the double rear brakes due to the oil from the actuating shaft bearing getting through into the drum, I modified this design, altering the position of the lubricating hole in the actuating shaft. I am watching the job closely and following your instructions as to doing everything possible to get the oil out of the drum, even at the expense if necessary, of allowing water to get in.
