judging by Gry{Shadwell Grylls}'s descriptions of the failure. Incidentally, it was on the grounds of this early failure that it was decided to fit a larger bearing, 1.625 instead of 40 m/m.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} We consider that these two failures are sufficient evidence to justify ensuring that post war production cannot suffer from this trouble. One bearing on the axle that was on 14.BII has elongated holes. My book on the position of the jobs as I left it mentions which car now has this axle. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/H.A. | ||
