Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG.6/ET. C.W. Ward, Esq., Messrs. Park Ward Ltd., 473 High Road - Willesden, LONDON N.W.10. 1st May, 1941. Dear Mr. Ward, We have had trouble through doors flying open when the car is on the road and, on investigating, found that it was due to faulty lock design. We have taken the matter up with the makers, as per copy of letter enclosed and sent them a lock for modification. This has now been returned and fitted to a car. The alterations that the lock people have made have overcome the trouble. Enclosed is also a copy of a recent letter to them on this matter, which will be self-explanatory. You will notice that I have suggested that you may be returning any locks that you have in stock for rectification. Yours sincerely, | ||
