EXPERIMENTAL BODIES. X8830 X180

With reference to C5/C13.1.28. We think it would be a good thing for Mr. Honeyman to come to Derby and see the bodies we have here, although we are afraid it is doubtful whether you would be able to make use of any of them.

Regarding 98-NK car. This car is fitted with a Phantom engine, it has a Barker open touring body which is very much worse for wear. It is one of those which was supplied to us on the 4-wheel brake rush which was never finished. This chassis is useful to us for any destructive tests. This chassis is the same as on the original 'V' series. The Phantom engine in it is one of the original ones and would not be of much value if we removed it, so that on the whole we think when we are ready to sell this car it would be better to sell it in its present state.
