RE HOOPER SPORTS BODY.

We saw this body on Friday last and, although Hoopers would give us no definite promise, we understood that we could expect the body to be ready for you to collect on Friday next. We suggest that you be prepared for this date but that later in the week we should wire you definitely.

It is proposed that the body should go to Derby on the dummy and that the dummy be than returned direct to Messrs Jarvis of Grove Road Wimbledon, who are held up until it arrives.

Before HOOPERS are able to complete their work they need the following pieces from Derby.

(1) Whilst they have the forward and intermediate wing stays, they have not yet received the tubular after stays.

(2) The pendulum lever cover is that for standard production and not the one for use on sports cars. They need this to fit the front wing round. By L afices to present cover F/28

(3) They would like to have the actual bonnet for this car to paint it with the rest of the body. If this is not possible we shall have to send you paint and the result may not be satisfactory.

We would be glad if you would send these pieces down as soon as possible as the date of delivery of the body depends on the coachbuilders receiving them by return.
