X.607 - EXIDE CELLS.

We have now examined in the Test Dept. two further Exide batteries from 150 BW and 41TE. In each case the batteries have definitely failed by shorting, the plates being otherwise good, so that in each of these two cases, we fix the responsibility as that of the Chloride Company.

With reference to the other batteries we examined shortly after the Conference, particulars of which were handed to you, we have been expecting to hear from you with regard as to what shall be done in this case.
