E.R.W. OFFICE MEMORANDUM X.295 Extract from EPC7/T25.919. RE ELECTRICAL PARTS FOR 10,000 MILE TEST (2) X.3555. R.R. Distribution Board with Lucas cutout. This has been fully instructed by Mr. Day. (The board instructed is made suitable for use in connection with the Lucas dynamo and can be adapted to the Smith type of dynamo, for which see number 5 below). (5) X.295. Smith (T & M) Type A Dynamo. We expect to receive from Messrs. Smith in the course of the next fortnight or three weeks, two dynamos representing their production article for this machine, which will be made with a more excellent finish than previously. (See other memo in this connection giving description of visit to Messrs. Smiths Wks) The R.R. distribution board as at present arranged contains one more fuse and connection than is necessary for the Smith dynamo, and if, as seems likely, we adopt the Smith dynamo after the first 500, this would mean a modification to make this board quite suitable. | ||
