| To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} X240 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.5/KW. 29.3.35. Referring to our memo. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.1/MA.20.3.35, we understand that there is some difficulty in fitting the Exptl. short matrix radiator to B-23-AE, owing to the details having been done for a car with the rigid type of engine mounting. In view of this we have decided not to fit this radiator permanently to B-23-AE, and therefore shall only require to run the short radiator for a small distance on this car. In order to do this we propose to use distance pieces (to attached sketch) to fit the radiator to the car with the centre point mounting. Will you therefore refit its own radiator to B-23-AE temporarily, and make two distance pieces to attached sketch, Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1865. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std. | ||
