We have obtained the silencer from the above car at Park Ward at your request - Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}/Db{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}/JH.16.9.38. We have followed out the instructions of blanking the holes up in the inner pipe. The row of six holes at the rear end were welded up separately as a sleeve would not pass through the stay in the shell. A sleeve was welded round the ten row of holes. The completed job will be re-erected to the chassis today. GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} | ||
