EFCL/T30.11.25 -2- Contd. Lihanode. An experimental battery of this type is still in good order, though the results obtained from it do not warrant further investigations. Fuller Sparta. The first battery of this type received to go into our present standard dimensions is still doing well. This was not the one reported upon in our previous report, but is the OSV12/85 which was then referred to as just received. This battery does not meet our specification in every respect. We have now received another (two more to come) made precisely to our standard specification. Cells of these batteries are being sandwiched with standard P & R and Exide cells for comparative life tests, both on the bench and on chassis. Oldham. We originally received an Oldham battery type 6NV5/1 which gave promising results, but in this case also this first battery was not to our specification. We have since received three batteries made in accordance with our specification, cells of which, as in the Fuller case, are being sandwiched with our present standard Exide and P & R cells for life tests on the bench and on chassis.
