For the attention of Mr.Martin-Hurst.

Dear Sirs,

Referring to your letter of the 20th.ult., we have not yet received the thermostat to B.G.A.3754 mentioned therein. Your drawing does not show the actual valve seat dia., but from experiments with Messrs Smith's unit, we find that a seating diameter of 1 1/4" is desirable. Will you please arrange to use this valve seat dia. on the sample which you send us - the opening temperature should be 78 - 80°C.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
