I attach hereto copy of a letter received this morning from Windovers concerning Sir Robert Hadfield.

As you may know, Sir Robert abandoned his wish to have twin wheels on his new PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I III and also abandoned having most of the parts that he wished made in his own special steel, so that only a few small items remain.

Exactly why he is asking for this information when he is not going to have such modifications on his car we do not know, but we should like to be able to give Windovers a satis-factory answer even though it is in most cases of a negative nature.

Can you therefore please cause the information to be obtained, possibly from Dunlops as regards the tyre matters, and give us your own views on such points as affect the chassis.

We have in the meantime merely acknowledged Windovers' letter and said we will write them again.
