Dear Mr. Loranger,

We received your letter of June 2nd, and duly passed the invoices for the four clutch plates which you sent us at $64.19 each. We realise that we are very much indebted to you for the help you gave us while in America.

We understood from your letter that only the first four clutch plates would come out at this figure, and we were rather surprised when we received a further invoice, a copy of which we attach, for six more clutch plates at a total cost of $386.09 dollars. We can only conclude that there was some slip up on this invoice as when discussing the matter with Mr. Zeidler in an unofficial manner, he intimated that 80 dollars might be considered a figure which would comfortably provide for the provision of tools.

Another point is, that as a result of the work done in America we have placed another order for clutch plates with your Affiliated Company - Messrs. Borg & Beck of Leamington Spa. This being so, surely a portion of the cost of the original ten plates should be written off as "development expenses".

We should, therefore, be glad if you could write us further on the subject at your earliest convenience.

Yours sincerely,
