RUDGE-WHITWORTH WHEELS.

HYG/P28.9.23. Doubtless you will take every step possible to expedite the obtaining of these wheels and completion of the necessary tests. If you consider it might save one day by sending a representative to see Rudge-Whitworth and explaining the position to them, please do so, as the saving of one day effects a saving of £38. If the matter is placed clearly before Rudge-Whitworth's they will quickly grasp the urgency of the matter from their own point of view.

We know how easily experimental work can be delayed to allow of more urgent experimental work being pushed through. Probably if it is impressed on Rudge-Whitworth's that ours is their most urgent job, it will be pushed through in front of all other work, and may save many days.

I presume immediately you receive the wheels they will be despatched to H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} the same day as they are received, in order that he may give the matter his immediate attention.

B.J.
