We would sooner give you a production price for a quantity of 200 after actual experience of casting the samples suggested; by this means we can more closely ascertain our scrap percentage through foundry troubles, and also get a more accurate idea of our piecework costs, together with the weight of the metal. Naturally, also, the intensity of your inspection has a bearing on this matter which we can assess better after your inspection of the sample castings.
