BENTLEY AND WRAITH DYNAMOS.

Will you please have made for us two Bentley dynamos complete to LOPs. DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}1100, DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}1101, D.54093, D.54599 and one Wraith dynamo complete to LOPs. D.54768, D.54599, D.54093, D.54763 with the following Experimental modifications incorporated in each machine:-

1. New shafts with increased diameter knurled portion as shewn on drg. EL.410 attached. In the case of the armature shaft for the Wraith dynamo except for the modification to EL.410 as shewn the details will be to drg. D.54762. On the other two armatures the remaining details will be to DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}1100.

2. New armature stampings to drgs. D.75731/2.

3. Place mild steel or sheet iron packings between the poles and the magnet case .0125" thick in order to accommodate smaller armature and grind pole face dia. to 3.105".

4. Incorporate the cheapening details on all machines as shewn on RR.Sch.1072 attached.

One of these dynamos is urgently required for test on the next 10,000 miles Bentley test.
