BRAKE DRUMS WITH CAST-IN END PLATES.

Some time ago we produced the Drawings EXS.142/3/4/5 which showed the above construction on Phantom drums, but owing to prohibition of further serious testing on Phantom, it is now useless to make these drums and they have been stopped.

As the saving on this size of drum is 12/6d. per car will you please draw and order one set of drums of this type suitable for the non-servo brakes you recently designed.

This constitutes a test quite separate from the official project of non-servo brakes.
