X5660 Extract from GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}2/RP.23.4.26. Report on Chassis 10-GIII after 7526 Miles. Magneto & Drive. X.3551. Magneto and drive are in good condition. Dynamo. X.4610 . X.5660. We have had no trouble with the dynamo. It was necessary during continuation of run to clean the commutator, as it had become dirty and brushes had started to sing. Examination at end of run; condition of commutator and brushes was good, there was a slight amount of carbon dust on the brush gear. | ||
