X1017 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rml/LG25.3.25. REPETITION OF FAN TESTS. The repetition of the fan tests carried out with the modified EFC. fan and standard R-R fan show that the latter still produces the best cooling on the R-R car. The discrepancy between the two fans is now much smaller than previously. The last test we took, the crticial atmospheric temperature with the EFC. fan at 30 m.p.h. was 4° below the standard fan at 40 m.p.h. - 3° at 30 m.p.h. These differences have now been reduced to 2° in each case. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
