It is quite clear to us that there is something wrong with the Continental type thick leaf springs which you have taken off the above car.
In order that we may ascertain what is wrong with these springs, will you please send them back to Derby marked "For the attention of Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Experimental Dept."
